Duke Luca Abele’s body double, Armando, appears in Dishonored 2’s “The Grand Palace” mission. He can help you depose the real Duke and take his place, allowing you to resolve the mission without killing Luca.
Where to find Armando
Look for Armando during “The Grand Palace,” where both he and Luca may be encountered in different parts of the palace. There is no single guaranteed room to check; the community-maintained mission reference describes multiple possible areas and ways to tell the two men apart.

How to recognize the body double
- He smokes: Smoking is a distinguishing clue associated with Armando.
- He is kinder: His manner and reactions are described as more considerate than Luca’s.
- Notice behavior and keys: The mission reference also lists differences in speech, reactions, and the keys each man carries.
These are practical clues, not a guarantee that a particular person will be immediately identifiable in every encounter. The character details come from the community-maintained Armando reference and mission page, rather than an official developer guide.
What happens if you work with Armando
Speak with Armando and explain your plan. He will cooperate with a scheme to render the real Duke unconscious and take his place. This gives you a non-lethal way to depose Luca; the alternative is to kill the Duke. The broad choice is also summarized in the Dishonored 2 overview.
