South Park season 27 premiered on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. The season opened with the episode “Sermon on the ‘Mount.” Earlier announcements had named July 9, but that date was revised before the season began.
The premiere date and time
The season 27 premiere aired at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central. Because the listing gives two time zones, the same broadcast reads as 10:00 p.m. Eastern and 7:00 p.m. Pacific on the same evening. Official material for this season does not give a single local-time equivalent for other countries, so readers outside the United States should convert from ET or PT themselves, using their own time zone.

Why July 9 still appears in older listings
South Park Studios first announced on April 2, 2025 that season 27 would premiere on Wednesday, July 9. That date was later superseded. On July 2, 2025, Paramount Press Express announced that the premiere had moved to Wednesday, July 23. Any page that still shows July 9 predates that revision and should not be treated as current.
| Announcement date | Published by | Premiere date stated | Status |
|---|---|---|---|

Where new episodes appeared after the premiere
A Comedy Central announcement dated September 17, 2025 confirmed later episode dates and said new episodes would be available on Paramount+ and through On Demand with a participating TV provider after their Comedy Central premieres. That announcement did not specify an exact streaming hour, a same-night guarantee, or how availability varied by country.

The same release also included a delay. Co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone commented on a scheduled episode that was not finished in time:
“Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done,” said Trey Parker and Matt Stone. “This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week!”

Checking availability in your region
Paramount+ has a season 27 episode listing, and a search result showed a July 24, 2025 date for one of those entries. That date describes a catalog listing, not a universal release time. Whether an episode is available depends on your country, your Paramount+ plan, and whether your TV provider carries On Demand for Comedy Central. To confirm access, open Paramount+ and search for “South Park,” then select season 27 and check the episode page for your account. If the episode is not listed, your region or subscription may not include it.
For the broadcast itself, the 10:00 p.m. ET/PT slot on Comedy Central is the reference time. Readers in other markets should check their local Comedy Central schedule, since channel line-ups and airing times differ by country.
