If you mean the woman in The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” lyric video, IMDb lists her as actress Alyssa Lynch. The separately released official narrative music video starred Halsey and Drew Taggart, so the two videos have different casts.
Which “Closer” video are you thinking of?
“Closer” has a lyric video and a separate narrative music video. That distinction matters: TIME identified Halsey and The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart as the stars of the narrative video, while IMDb’s cast listing credits Alyssa Lynch in the 2016 lyric video. IMDb also lists her as “Woman” in the official music video, but its database is user-editable, so that entry is best treated as a recorded credit rather than independent confirmation. IMDb’s “Closer” credits and TIME’s coverage of the narrative video help distinguish the versions.

What happened to Alyssa Lynch?
The public credits show that Lynch continued to appear in screen projects after “Closer.” IMDb records her as Lola in the 2017 film Before I Fall, and lists work connected with Project Mc² and Travelers. Those are selected database credits, not a complete account of her career.
A 2019 podcast page described Lynch as an actress who had shifted toward full-time social-media influencing. That dated description does not establish her occupation in 2026, and the available public record cited here does not provide a complete recent timeline. It therefore does not support saying that she quit acting permanently, disappeared, or currently holds a particular job. IMDb’s Lynch credits and the 2019 podcast page provide the limited details behind those descriptions.
