She kept acting after Banshee
Simmons began playing Rebecca Bowman on Banshee when she was 18. In a January 25, 2024 interview with Casting Networks, she recalled that the experience was “terrifying” and “the best thing in the world.” She also described the role as the start of a continuing career path: “I’ve been on that path ever since.”

Her work after the Cinemax series included appearances in Hawaii Five-0, Ray Donovan, Westworld and Power Book IV: Force, as well as film roles. Apple TV’s undated profile and Rotten Tomatoes’ filmography also list credits such as True Detective, Bone Tomahawk and Sound of Violence. Those catalogs offer career context, but they are not a complete or up-to-date résumé.
Her January 2024 film role was Double Down South
In Tom Schulman’s Double Down South, Simmons plays Diana, a young pool hustler. The film was scheduled to open in theaters and on demand on January 26, 2024, according to the Casting Networks interview published the day before.

Simmons told the interviewer she did not know how to play pool before preparing for the role. She said she worked with actor Matt Craven for about five hours a day. That schedule is her account of her preparation, not an independently verified training record.
She still spoke warmly about Banshee and its fans
In the same 2024 interview, Simmons said fans still called themselves “Fanshees” and that she continued to see messages from viewers saying, “We love you, Rebecca!” Her comments show that the role remained a point of connection with the show’s audience years after the series ended.

The documented picture is of an actor who continued working beyond her breakout role, with projects and credits spanning television and film. The January 2024 interview is the latest dated account here of her work; the undated profile and catalog listings do not establish what she has done most recently.
There is not enough verified information here to name a current project or newest acting credit as of October 8, 2026. A quieter public profile is not evidence that Simmons retired or left acting, and the available career information does not establish an explanation involving her private life.
