Montel Williams publicly criticized Wendy Williams’s talk show in May 2019, saying it had belittled people facing issues Wendy was then experiencing. The reported comments establish a criticism of her program—not a documented private feud or confrontation between the two hosts.
What Montel Williams said about Wendy Williams’s show
In an interview reported by Us Weekly on May 14, 2019, Montel Williams criticized how Wendy Williams’s daytime program treated people. The magazine quoted him as saying: “Wendy’s show is so much different than mine, where she does a program that literally has for years now, honestly, belittled and put down people who are going through what she’s going through.”
His point, as reported, was about the show’s treatment of people dealing with circumstances Wendy was then facing. The comments drew attention in that context, but they do not identify a particular incident between the hosts.
Was there a personal feud or confrontation?
The reported account supports a public criticism of Wendy’s program. It does not establish a separate private dispute, a personal confrontation, or an ongoing feud between Montel and Wendy.
