What happened to Wenne Alton Davis?
CBS New York reported that police identified Davis as the person struck while crossing Broadway near West 53rd Street at about 9 p.m. on December 8. Davis was taken to hospital and died from the injuries. What did police reports say about the collision?
FOX 5 New York reported, attributing the details to police, that a black 2023 Cadillac XT6 was turning left from West 53rd Street onto Broadway while Davis crossed in the south crosswalk. FOX 5 New York

In coverage published December 10–11, 2025, reports said the driver remained at the scene, no arrest had been made, and the NYPD Highway District’s Collision Investigation Squad was continuing its investigation.
