Jenna Ortega plays Wednesday Addams, a student at Nevermore Academy. The Netflix series surrounds her with fellow supernatural students, school staff and members of the Addams family. This guide identifies principal characters across the first two seasons and distinguishes returning characters from figures introduced in Season 2.
Wednesday and the Nevermore students
Nevermore Academy is home to students from a supernatural world. Netflix’s Season 1 guide identifies werewolves, sirens, psychics and vampires among the kinds of characters at the school. These are the key student roles in the guide:

- Wednesday Addams — Jenna Ortega. The central character is a Nevermore student who develops psychic abilities. Her signature look includes pigtails and a goth wardrobe. In Season 2, she is described as a supernatural detective. Netflix’s Season 1 character guide and Season 2 guide identify her character and role.
- Enid Sinclair — Emma Myers. Wednesday’s roommate and a principal Nevermore character. The Season 2 guide identifies Myers with the role.
- Bianca Barclay — Joy Sunday. A Nevermore character identified in the Season 2 guide.
- Eugene Ottinger — Moosa Mostafa. A Nevermore character identified in the Season 2 guide.
- Ajax Petropolus — Georgie Farmer. A Nevermore character identified in the Season 2 guide.
- Tyler Galpin — Hunter Doohan. A returning character. This guide sticks to his identification rather than summarizing his season-specific plot role.
The Addams family
Wednesday’s immediate family includes her parents and younger brother. Netflix says these family members have expanded roles in Season 2; that does not change how they were billed in Season 1.
- Morticia Addams — Catherine Zeta-Jones. Wednesday and Pugsley’s mother.
- Gomez Addams — Luis Guzmán. Wednesday and Pugsley’s father.
- Pugsley Addams — Isaac Ordonez. Wednesday’s brother.
- Thing — Victor Dorobantu. The Addams family’s familiar disembodied hand, identified with Dorobantu in Netflix’s Season 2 guide.
Netflix reported that Zeta-Jones, Guzmán, Ordonez and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo became series regulars for Season 2. That status applies to Season 2 and should not be read as a description of their Season 1 billing. Netflix’s September 3, 2025 Season 2 update confirms the change.

The names above are a principal-character selection, not a complete credits list. Some roles return across seasons, while others are introduced in Season 2; a performer’s role and their billing status are separate details. For additional names, consult Netflix’s Season 1 guide or Season 2 guide and check which season each covers. Netflix’s Wednesday title page also lists cast members, but it is not a complete season-by-season character reference and may vary by geography.
All eight episodes of Season 2 were streaming as of Netflix’s September 3, 2025 update. In that article, Netflix attributes the line “Nothing is what it seems in Season 2” to co-creator Miles Millar; it is a season-framing remark, not a description of any one character.
