How “The Archer” returned in Amsterdam
Swift played the mashup at Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam, Netherlands, during the Eras Tour’s surprise-song segment. It was not a reinstatement of “The Archer” in the regular show: the song appeared as an individual acoustic selection at the piano. Setlist.fm’s July 2024 tour report records the July 4 pairing as “The Archer” / “Question…?”.
Why the performance was a revival
“The Archer,” from Lover, had previously been part of the Eras Tour’s regular set. Swift dropped it in May 2024 when the show’s Lover section began moving directly into Fearless amid a broader setlist overhaul that made room for songs from The Tortured Poets Department. TIME’s report on the Paris setlist changes describes the shift. The Amsterdam appearance brought the song back for the surprise-song slot, rather than reversing that regular-set change.
Amsterdam’s surprise songs changed each night
The July 4 performance was the first of three Amsterdam Eras Tour dates. Swift’s acoustic surprise-song combinations differed on July 5 and July 6, so the “The Archer” / “Question…?” mashup belongs specifically to night one. The later Amsterdam setlists are recorded in the 2024 setlist archive.

Where to watch the Amsterdam performance
The setlist records establish that Swift performed the mashup, but do not establish that an official full-length video of the Amsterdam performance is available. For an official studio recording of “The Archer,” look to Lover; that album track is not a recording of the live Amsterdam arrangement.
