Industry reporting put WWE main-roster talent’s minimum pay at about $350,000 a year in 2024–2025. That is a reported figure attributed to Fightful Select—not a current pay scale published or confirmed by WWE. The available reporting does not establish whether the minimum has changed since then.
What is the reported minimum pay for WWE main roster stars?
Sports Illustrated reported on February 16, 2025, that Fightful Select had put the main-roster minimum at about $350,000 annually. WrestleTalk reported the same figure the following day, also attributing it to Fightful Select. WrestleTalk described the underlying reporting as drawing on contacts among talent and people involved in negotiating deals. Sports Illustrated’s account and WrestleTalk’s account are reports of industry information, not WWE contract disclosures.
As of October 8, 2026, no official WWE source identified here confirms that amount as the current minimum. WWE’s official Superstars page lists roster information, not compensation terms. The $350,000 figure should therefore be described as a reported minimum from 2024–2025, not as a verified current WWE policy.
Does that figure describe what every wrestler earns?
No. The reported $350,000 is framed as a floor for main-roster talent, not a typical salary, a guaranteed figure for every performer, or an estimate of total annual income. Sports Illustrated’s account says individual deals vary and that many stars earn more than $1 million. That is a reported threshold for many performers, not a roster-wide average or a disclosed pay tier.

Contract terms for a particular performer may differ, and reported estimates about named wrestlers should not be treated as confirmed contract values unless supported by a reliable disclosure. The available sources do not establish a complete set of current WWE salary bands.
Why do older WWE contract figures differ?
Public filings provide historical examples of individual contract terms, not a current benchmark for ordinary main-roster talent. WWE’s SEC-filed booking-contract amendment for Stephanie McMahon set minimum annual compensation at $500,000 in 2016; a second amendment changed the amount to $750,000 in 2019. These figures refer to her specific booking contract in those years and measure a different person’s terms at a different time. They do not confirm the current roster minimum.

Are travel expenses included in WWE pay?
WrestleTalk reported that airfare is covered under the contract context it described, while hotels and rental cars may not be. This is reported information, not a universal statement about every performer’s agreement. Travel arrangements and reimbursement terms can depend on individual contract language; the available reporting does not establish one policy applicable to the entire roster.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s 2026–27 CW-1 wage table lists $136,079 annually for “Athletes and Sports Competitors.” That occupational wage-table amount is general context, not evidence of WWE’s negotiated minimum. A government occupational category and a reported WWE contract floor are different measures, so the DOL figure should not be used to confirm or replace the WWE-specific report.
