Longest time did not mean match victory
Perez’s 1:07:47 ended with a runner-up finish: Charlotte Flair won the women’s match by eliminating her last. Penta had the longest listed men’s time but was eliminated by Finn Bálor. Jey Uso won the men’s match after entering with the third-longest time listed among the top three, eliminating John Cena last.

Time in the match, entry number, and final result are distinct measures. WWE publishes entry order alongside the durations, but a long run by itself does not establish performance quality or difficulty.
How to read WWE’s time figures
WWE labels its participant table as the official statistics for the 2025 men’s and women’s matches. The page does not explain its timing protocol or say that an independent party verified the figures. The values should therefore be read as WWE-listed times, not independently timed estimates or evidence of a particular start-and-stop convention.

Where the Rumble fit on the event card
The Royal Rumble also featured an Undisputed WWE Championship Ladder Match and a WWE Tag Team Championship 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. WWE’s full event results identify Flair and Uso as earning world championship bouts at WrestleMania.
WWE reported attendance of 70,347 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. In a February 3, 2025 corporate release, WWE also said the event set its viewership record, with domestic viewership nearly 14% above the previous year; merchandise sales were more than 95% above the prior Royal Rumble record, in partnership with Fanatics; and sponsorship revenue was 94% above its previous record. These are WWE-reported corporate figures, not independently audited metrics. WWE’s February 3, 2025 release also said the event featured 14 partners and generated the most social video views in Royal Rumble history.
