Raw on Netflix grades
WWE’s recaps report what happened, not numerical match grades. The grades below are my editorial judgments, using the same criteria for each match: pacing and in-ring execution, clarity and effectiveness of the finish, story or title-picture impact, and fit for a premiere episode.
| Match | Grade | Editorial assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa | B+ | The Ula Fala and Tribal Chief stakes made the result consequential, and Reigns’ two-Spear finish was easy to follow. The interruptions and outside activity added spectacle but took focus from the contest itself. |
| Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan | A− | Ripley’s title win delivered a clear shift in the championship picture. The counter to the second Oblivion set up a decisive finish, while the post-match beat with Mysterio and Undertaker extended the segment into a memorable character moment. |
| Jey Uso vs. Drew McIntyre | B | Uso surviving the Claymore gave McIntyre a credible near-fall before the roll-up punished his overconfidence. The compact finish fit the story, though it was less grand in scale than the premiere’s other featured matches. |
| CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins | A | The crowd brawl and signature-move exchanges gave the rivalry a main-event feel. Punk’s two Go to Sleeps after the superplex produced an emphatic, uncomplicated finish. |
How many people watched Raw’s Netflix premiere?
WWE and Netflix reported 4.9 million global Live+1 views for the premiere. They separately cited VideoAmp’s estimate of 2.6 million U.S. households on a Live+SD basis, compared with Raw’s 2024 average of 1.2 million U.S. households, also measured by VideoAmp and reported by WWE and Netflix in 2025. These are different metrics and should not be read as directly comparable audience counts. The companies also said the debut exceeded any other Monday Night Raw broadcast in the previous five years and set a company record for the highest-grossing WWE arena event; those records are company statements.
