Vince Gilligan’s Apple TV series once referred to by the working title Wycaro 339 was released as Pluribus. It premiered on November 7, 2025, not in summer 2025. Apple describes it as a science-fiction, genre-bending drama about the most miserable person on Earth having to save the world from happiness.
What is Wycaro 339 called now?
The released series is titled Pluribus. Apple’s official series page lists November 7, 2025, as its release date, correcting the summer 2025 timing in the earlier title reference. Apple’s July 25, 2025 announcement introduced the series under its released title.
What is Pluribus about?
Apple’s official, spoiler-light premise is: “The most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness.” The company characterizes Pluribus as a science-fiction drama and a genre-bending original. That logline is the clearest official description; it does not, by itself, establish further plot details.
When did Pluribus premiere, and how many episodes are there?
The first season has nine episodes. Apple announced a two-episode global premiere on Friday, November 7, 2025, followed by weekly Friday releases through December 26, 2025. The season’s premiere and schedule are set out in Apple’s dated announcement; Apple’s series page also lists November 7 as the release date.
