Where the gathering took place
The event was held in Dwarka, Gujarat. TV9 Gujarati places the dance on a ground behind Rukmini Temple and says women registered online from across Gujarat. It describes the event as an effort to promote Indian culture among the next generation; those details are from TV9’s account.
How many women participated?
A post by Jayesh Upadhyay of News18 Gujarati, reproduced in Scroll’s report, said 37,000 Ahirani women performed Maha Raas continuously for two hours.
