Scheana said Lala shared a private disclosure about Brock Davies’s 2020 affair with The Valley co-star Jenna Willis, damaging her trust; she also pointed to two earlier incidents. Lala’s public explanation focused on Scheana’s expectations about when she would promote the book. Those are the women’s accounts, not an independently established single cause.
What Scheana says ended the friendship
On the October 3, 2025 episode of Scheananigans, Scheana said the dispute was not simply about Lala failing to post about her memoir, My Good Side, quickly enough. As reported by Just Jared on October 4, 2025, Scheana said she had confided in Lala about Brock Davies’s 2020 affair and that Lala later told Jenna Willis about it.
Scheana said Lala’s intention was not malicious: she understood Lala to be trying to give her grace or context. But Scheana felt Lala could have supported her without sharing the private details. She described the disclosure as “extremely heartbreaking” and said, “This is not just about not posting my book for a week. It is about so much more than that.”
Earlier problems also mattered
Scheana said the friendship had already become rocky because of two earlier incidents. She did not identify those incidents in the account reported by Just Jared, so their nature cannot be specified from that reporting.

How Lala described the dispute
Lala’s explanation centered on the timing of her public support for Scheana’s memoir. In a report published September 29, 2025, Bravo’s The Daily Dish said Lala felt Scheana was upset that she had not posted about My Good Side on the timeline Scheana expected. Lala said she had posted about the preorder and again when the book arrived, and that Scheana was overlooking support she had given privately.
“She’s upset because that I didn’t post it in the proper timeline,” Lala said, according to Bravo. She also pushed back on feeling expected to respond on demand: “I am not a robot. You don’t click in what you need from me. I’m a person with a life.” Bravo described the pair as being in a strange place while still having family-like ties.

Why the accounts differ

- Scheana gave a fuller explanation in October. Her October 3, 2025 podcast account, reported the following day by Just Jared, described the disclosure to Jenna and the earlier problems.
What is known about the later reunion discussion
A later Peacock search result describes an unaired The Valley season 3 reunion segment in which Lala said she informed Scheana after the information had leaked and hoped to resolve the matter privately; the indexed summary also refers to a year-long breakdown. Peacock’s page was unavailable in the reporting region, so this is an indexed description rather than a directly reviewed transcript. It does not establish the pair’s relationship status as of October 8, 2026.
