Did Tyra Banks walk in the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show?
She did. Banks appeared in the 2024 show, which Victoria’s Secret held on October 15. The brand’s biography of Banks describes the appearance as her return to the runway and says she closed the live broadcast.
How did the show’s finale unfold?
Banks closed the event. In the official show recording, her finale appears at 38:28. That timestamp is a point in the broadcast, not the show’s total length.
Why was her return significant?
A career that began with the brand in 1996
Victoria’s Secret says Banks’s career with the brand began in 1996, when she first walked in its fashion show. Her 2024 appearance therefore brought her back to a runway associated with a long-running part of her modeling career.

A return for both Banks and the show
Victoria’s Secret characterized the 2024 event as the fashion show’s return after a six-year gap in its fashion show FAQ. Vogue’s contemporaneous coverage of the 2024 show identified Banks, then 50, among its veteran models and described the brand’s aim as presenting a more diverse and inclusive vision. That is Vogue’s framing of the event, not proof that the show resolved criticism of the brand’s earlier image.
What is known about Banks’s outfit?
Victoria’s Secret’s official announcement connected the show to a limited-edition collection of styles worn by cast and crew. The available details do not identify the exact garment Banks wore, so her outfit should not be attributed to a specific bra, underwear style, or other item on that basis.
