If you want the familiar puzzle of making guesses and interpreting clues, try Dordle, Quordle, or Octordle for multiple boards at once. For a different kind of deduction, Absurdle shifts the target strategy, Semantle uses clues based on meaning, and Nerdle turns the puzzle into arithmetic.
Choose a Wordle-like game by the challenge you want

Dordle, Quordle, and Octordle
These games increase the number of simultaneous answers, making each guess serve more than one board. That creates a different pressure from a single puzzle: a guess may help reveal one answer while offering less useful information about another.
For Octordle, the official tutorial says to solve eight different five-letter words in 13 tries. Each valid five-letter guess applies to all eight answers, and the tutorial says a new puzzle is available each day. A July 2026 PC Gamer roundup describes Quordle as four simultaneous puzzles in nine guesses. Those are published rule descriptions, not a guarantee that every mode or limit remains unchanged; check the relevant game page before starting.

Dordle is another option if you want the multi-board idea without jumping straight to eight answers. The available information does not establish its current number of guesses or other limits, so verify those in the game.
For a more adversarial puzzle
Absurdle
Absurdle is described as an adversarial five-letter game: rather than simply working toward a fixed answer, it changes its target strategy in response to your guesses. That makes it a fit if you want the familiar guess-and-feedback pattern to feel less predictable. The description is secondary; consult the game’s current page for exact rules and modes. For meaning-based clues
Semantle
Semantle changes the deduction task from finding letters in the right places to using semantic similarity. In other words, the useful clue is how closely a guess relates in meaning to the hidden word, not whether it shares a letter pattern. Choose it when you want a word puzzle that tests associations rather than spelling. Check its current game page for the exact clues, limits, and available modes.

Nerdle
Classic Nerdle keeps a Wordle-like feedback loop but asks you to find a calculation. Its official Classic Nerdle page describes a daily puzzle with an eight-character hidden calculation and six guesses. Guesses must be valid equations. Green marks a character in the correct position, purple marks a character that appears elsewhere in the solution, and gray marks a character that is not in the solution.

- Choose Dordle, Quordle, or Octordle if you want to apply familiar letter clues across multiple answers.
- Choose Absurdle if you want an adversarial twist on guessing.
- Choose Semantle if you prefer clues based on relationships in meaning.
- Choose Nerdle if you would rather reason through a valid equation and character feedback.
