How Hurdle’s five rounds work
Arkadium’s Hurdle is a daily sequence of five-letter word puzzles. You get six guesses for each of the first four rounds, then two attempts at the final hurdle. The final puzzle uses your four earlier answers as prefilled rows.
Tile colors show how each guess relates to the answer: green means the letter is in the correct position, yellow means the letter is in the answer but in a different position, and gray means the letter is absent. Information carries from earlier rounds into the final, but the number of times a letter was highlighted in previous guesses does not necessarily reveal how many times it appears in the final answer.
Optional in-game aids and past puzzles
Arkadium lists three optional aids: Clue provides a short description, Remove grays out three keyboard letters, and Reveal shows one letter. Arkadium’s support documentation, modified October 2, 2026, says a free registered account can access the previous day’s puzzle and Arkadium Plus subscribers can access puzzles from the prior 30 days; access details may change.

Arkadium says its word-based game dictionary contains 15,000 permissible five-letter entries. The support documentation does not explain how that count was measured, so it is Arkadium’s stated figure rather than an independently verified dictionary count. Its support page also says: “There’s a new puzzle each and every day to try.”
