Both songs were released in Korean, English, and Japanese versions. Fans have praised the tracks in individual discussions, but the available evidence does not establish how widespread that response is.
Which Stray Kids songs are in Tower of God?
“TOP” is the first-season opening theme and “SLUMP” is the paired ending theme. Sony Music announced Stray Kids’ opening-theme role in 2020, and its Japanese single listing identifies the roles of both songs. Sony Music’s announcement and the official single listing document the collaboration.
When Stray Kids discussed the opportunity, member Changbin said, “It is a great honor that we, Stray Kids will be singing the opening and ending theme song of such a great animation ‘Tower of God’.” Lee Know said, “It feels unreal to sing the opening and ending theme song for ‘Tower of God’, that I always watched.” Crunchyroll reported both comments on March 30, 2020; they describe the members’ feelings about the project, not viewers’ reception. Read Crunchyroll’s report.
Why do fans say the songs get a lot of love?
There are individual fan discussions of the songs, including a thread titled “What are your opinions on TOP and SLUMP?” and a separate album discussion inviting comments on the release. Those posts show that fans have talked about the tracks, but they do not establish broad or representative popularity. The available evidence does not provide a representative survey, verified streaming total, or chart statistic for “TOP” or “SLUMP.” One discussion asks for opinions on the songs; another discusses the release.

Stray Kids returned to provide themes for the second season’s Workshop Battle arc. Sony Music announced the renewed collaboration on September 8, 2024, describing the interval since “TOP” and “SLUMP” as about four and a half years.
