Entertainment outlets reported in February 2024 that Tom Cruise and Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova had grown close after several dates, then reported days later that they had split. Neither person publicly confirmed the relationship in the sources reviewed, and those reports do not establish their relationship status today.
What did reports say about Tom Cruise and Elsina Khayrova?
On 13 February 2024, PerthNow published the headline “Tom Cruise ‘growing closer’ to Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova after several dates.” The story attributed the relationship claims to a Daily Mail account based on an unnamed source from Khayrova’s circle. That source reportedly described the pair as an item and said they had grown close; the account also mentioned private dates in London. These were anonymous-source claims, not direct confirmation from Cruise or Khayrova. PerthNow’s 13 February report

How did the reports develop?
December 2023: a reported sighting
Later entertainment coverage traced rumors to a reported sighting of Cruise and Khayrova together at a Mayfair party in December 2023. That retrospective account was not direct confirmation of a relationship. IBTimes UK’s February 2024 report
13–15 February 2024: claims of growing closeness
IBTimes UK and NDTV repeated the relationship framing while attributing it to anonymous insiders or the Daily Mail coverage. They were secondary reports, not independent, on-record confirmation. NDTV’s report, published 13 February and updated 15 February 2024

22 February 2024: a reported split
LBC reported that Cruise and Khayrova had split, citing unnamed friends and a source who described the relationship as having run its course. This, too, was an anonymous-source report. LBC’s page lists an update on 10 February 2026, but the underlying account does not provide direct confirmation from either person or establish their current relationship status. LBC’s report

The most accurate answer is that entertainment outlets reported both a relationship and a subsequent split in February 2024, relying on unnamed sources. The accounts reviewed do not include an on-record confirmation from Cruise or Khayrova. They therefore document what outlets reported at that time, not a verified relationship history or a present-day status.
