Todd Chrisley has said publicly that his son Chase is doing well. In a January 2026 Entertainment Weekly interview, Todd said Chase was following his rehab program, exercising with him every day, and had regained weight. A July 2026 podcast episode listing adds that Chase discussed reaching one year of sobriety. Both updates come from family-side accounts. The coverage we reviewed contains no clinical assessment of Chase’s health and no confirmed diagnosis.

What Todd Chrisley said in January 2026

The most detailed recent update came in an Entertainment Weekly interview published January 17, 2026, and later republished on Yahoo. Todd described Chase’s condition in his own words:

“Chase is doing amazing.”

“He is doing the best that he’s done in forever.”

“He’s gained his weight back.”

“He’s in better shape than he’s ever been.”

Those statements are Todd’s account. The interview also reported that Chase was following his program and working out with his father daily. No medical professional is quoted assessing his health, and the article does not give a figure for how much weight Chase lost or regained.

The July 2026 podcast episode

The most recent public item in coverage is an episode listing dated July 8, 2026, for The Weight We Carry (feat. Chase Chrisley) on iHeart. The description says Chase discusses reaching one year of sobriety and what recovery has taught him. That is the episode listing’s wording, not an independent check of his sobriety. Treat it as a stated milestone from the family, not as evidence of broader medical outcomes.

Earlier reports: stomach issues and rehab in 2025

Health concerns were first described publicly in September 2025. In a TV Insider report published September 17, 2025, reporter Alyssa Norwin quoted Todd from a Lifetime series episode, recorded September 16, 2025, saying: “For about four years, Chase has had stomach issues.” Todd also said he was worried by how thin Chase looked.

That same report said the family had not specified the length or type of Chase’s rehab program. Todd said Chase was following the program and being held accountable. The reporting does not identify a cause for the stomach issues or a diagnosis, and it should not be read as one.

What is established and what is not

  • Established as reported: Todd has described Chase’s stomach issues as lasting about four years, said Chase is in a rehab program, and said Chase is doing well as of January 2026.
  • Attributed to family or the episode listing: the regained weight, the daily workouts, and the one-year sobriety milestone.
  • Not established in the coverage: a medical diagnosis, the cause of the stomach symptoms, the type or length of rehab, and any clinician’s view of Chase’s current health.

Where the story stands in October 2026

The latest public update we found is the July 2026 episode listing. Nothing in the coverage reviewed describes a relapse, a medical emergency, or a new diagnosis after that date. Any future update should be read with the same distinction: a family member’s statement or a show description is not a medical evaluation.

Readers looking for Chase’s own words should check the podcast episode itself, and readers looking for medical information about the symptoms described should consult a physician rather than news coverage.

The most important detail for anyone following the story is still the simplest: Todd’s January 2026 update is positive, but it is his report. It is not an independent confirmation of Chase’s health.
