The “complicated” health update about Todd Snider was issued in November 2025. Snider died on November 14, 2025; his official website later said his death resulted from complications of pneumonia. The public accounts describe a diagnosis of walking pneumonia and a transfer for additional treatment, but do not provide a full medical record or a more specific clinical explanation.
What the November 2025 update said
The Associated Press reported that Snider’s family and friends said he had been diagnosed with pneumonia at a hospital in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and that his condition had become more complicated before he was transferred elsewhere. Their statement said: “Our beloved brother’s condition has become more complicated, and he’s since been transferred for additional treatment.” The AP report, published November 15, 2025, also recounts that doctors found an undiagnosed case of walking pneumonia after Snider returned home and developed trouble breathing.
