- Spangram: It has six letters and runs from the left side of the board to the right.
- In-game hint words: TOAD, BRIDE, TANK, BONG, TRIED, and RANK are non-theme words that can help unlock hints. TechRadar’s February 22 guide lists these words.
Strands is a themed word search played on a 6-by-8 letter grid, according to PC Guide’s February 23 explainer. Theme words relate to the day’s theme, while the spangram describes it and touches opposite sides of the grid. The guide says that finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint that reveals letters in a theme word.

The spangram is GUITAR. The seven theme words are BODY, BRIDGE, FRETBOARD, HEADSTOCK, NECK, PEGS, and STRING—all parts of a guitar.
