Tiffani Thiessen’s August 18, 2025, Instagram video paired a playful topless appearance with a carrot cake recipe she called “Naked Carrot Cake.” The name is also a baking reference: a naked cake has little frosting on its outside, so the recipe’s title does not mean nudity is part of making it.
What happened in Tiffani Thiessen’s video?
Thiessen appeared without a top while eating carrot cake in the clip, which promoted the recipe. The caption quoted by AOL, which credited People, read: “When it’s hot out, you gotta get naked… #nakedcarrotcake. Recipe in the comments if you wanna get naked too 😜.” Us Weekly also reported that she asked, “How do you eat it,” before taking a bite.
The caption and presentation make the post a visual joke as well as a recipe promotion. Parade and TMZ explained the baking meaning behind “naked”: the cake has little or no icing covering its sides, unlike a fully frosted cake.
What is known about the carrot cake recipe?
Us Weekly described it as a triple-layer cake, and coverage reported that Thiessen shared the recipe in the comments. The available reporting does not establish the ingredients, quantities, method, pan dimensions, or equipment, so those details should not be inferred from the video coverage.

How does the post relate to Thiessen’s earlier birthday photo?
In January 2024, Thiessen shared a separate image for her 50th birthday in which she posed in bed covered by a white sheet. That photo preceded the 2025 cake video, but the two posts are distinct.
In an earlier People interview recounted by AOL, Thiessen said she had been more nervous about turning 40 than 50. She said her focus in her 40s had still been on her children, and that she had been preparing for 50 while wanting to look and feel her best. She also spoke in that interview about working out and ice bathing; those comments were not remarks from the carrot cake video.
