In Season 2, Episode 8 of The Valley, tensions at a beach outing, a shifting friendship, a persistent rumor and a privacy breach put trust under pressure. Bravo’s official title for the June 3, 2025 episode is “The Biggest Snake in the Grass”; “Friends and Alibis” is the title used for this recap.
What happens in The Valley Season 2, Episode 8?
The episode follows several fractures in the group rather than one central confrontation. Jasmine, Janet and Jason clash during a beach outing; Zack starts to recognize that his friendship with Brittany has changed; Kristen’s rumor continues to affect the friend group; and Brittany uncovers a privacy breach involving Jax. Those are the main storylines in Bravo’s official episode synopsis, also reflected in the episode listing from Rotten Tomatoes.
Why do Jasmine, Janet and Jason clash?
The beach outing brings tensions among Jasmine, Janet and Jason to the surface. Bravo’s episode synopsis identifies their conflict as a central thread. In separate follow-up coverage, Bravo reported additional comments from the people involved; those accounts add context after the episode, but should be distinguished from what the episode itself establishes. Bravo’s beach-dispute follow-up covers those comments.
What changes between Zack and Brittany?
Zack begins to understand that his friendship with Brittany has shifted. The episode synopsis describes his realization, while entertainment outlet Reality Tea frames the development as part of a broader erosion of trust in the group. That is the outlet’s interpretation, rather than a separate factual finding about the cast’s relationships. Reality Tea’s episode recap offers that perspective.

How does Kristen’s rumor affect the group?
The rumor started by Kristen continues to ripple through the friend group, adding to the uncertainty around who trusts whom. Bravo’s synopsis identifies its ongoing effect but does not, in the listing, provide enough detail to treat every implication or reaction as settled fact.
What does Brittany discover about Jax?
Brittany uncovers a privacy breach involving Jax. Bravo’s follow-up coverage frames the question as whether Jax planted a listening device in Brittany’s home; that is the article’s framing of the allegation, not a proven finding that should be repeated as fact. For the post-episode account and participants’ claims, see Bravo’s privacy-story explainer.
