There is no reliable, publicly documented top ten of the highest-paid actors across Netflix shows. The available reporting offers a few show-specific examples, not comparable figures for ten performers. The clearest series-pay example is Millie Bobby Brown’s reported Stranger Things rate beginning in season three: at least $250,000 per episode, according to Variety’s February 13, 2025 report. Brown did not confirm or deny that amount.
Why a verified top ten is not possible
A meaningful ranking would require salaries reported on a comparable basis: the same kind of payment, tied to a stated season or contract period, with reliable confirmation. The available reporting does not provide that for ten actors on Netflix series. It instead contains isolated claims with different units and levels of certainty. Ranking those claims as if they were a complete league table would suggest a comparison the evidence cannot support.
Actor compensation may be reported as a per-episode rate, a payment for an entire project, or a package tied to several roles. Those figures are not interchangeable. A reported rate for one season also does not establish an actor’s pay in later seasons, total annual income, or net worth.
What is reported about Millie Bobby Brown’s Stranger Things pay?
Variety reported in 2025 that Brown earned at least $250,000 per episode on Stranger Things beginning with season three. The amount was reported, not confirmed by Brown, who did not confirm or deny it. It is a season-specific series-pay claim, not a Netflix-verified salary figure.

The same Variety report discussed an earlier report of a $10 million payment connected to Enola Holmes 2, a film Brown starred in and produced. That is a separate reported film payment, not a salary for a Netflix series, and it should not be added to her reported Stranger Things rate as though both came from one contract.
What did Robin Wright say about House of Cards pay?
In a 2025 Variety interview, Robin Wright recalled seeking equal pay with Kevin Spacey on House of Cards. She said she was told: “We can’t pay you the same as an actor, so we will make you exec producer and you can direct. We will give you three different paychecks.” Wright also recalled being told, “Because you didn’t win an Academy Award.”

These are Wright’s recollections of the negotiations, not independently verified contract terms. The interview does not state a salary amount, so her account provides pay-equity context but cannot be used to rank her compensation.

- Check the payment unit: A per-episode figure is not the same as a whole-project payment.
- Check the season and date: A reported rate for one season does not establish pay for another.
- Check confirmation: Attribute unconfirmed figures to the outlet reporting them; do not present them as salaries Netflix verified.
- Keep series and film deals separate: A performer’s film compensation does not establish their pay on a Netflix show.
For example, Associated Press coverage of Squid Game season two provides release and show context, but does not report an actor salary that can fill out a ranking (AP, December 23, 2024).
