What Rihanna said about her past outfits
At a Fenty x Puma shoe-release event, Rihanna answered a British Vogue question about her fashion “ick.” In a report published April 22, 2024, Marie Claire quoted her reflecting on some revealing outfits: “I had my nipples out. I had my panties out.” She said that looking back felt different to her as a mother and as an “evolved young lady.”

Her answer described past revealing looks generally; she did not point to one named outfit. Marie Claire relayed Page Six’s speculation that the 2014 CFDA Fashion Awards dress might be what she had in mind, but that was not an identification by Rihanna.
Her fashion ick was not her pregnancy style
The report distinguishes Rihanna’s retrospective discomfort with some past outfits from her bold clothing during pregnancy. She did not describe her maternity fashion as an ick. Instead, she had spoken about wanting to challenge expectations for what pregnant women should wear.
