November 17, 2025, was the date of a one-day theatrical anniversary event for Overlord: the first seven episodes of Season 1 were scheduled to play together in select theaters in the United States and Canada. It was a screening of existing episodes, not an announcement of a new season or film, and the date has passed.
What happened on November 17?
The event was titled Last Night to Login: Overlord 10th Anniversary Celebration. CBR reporting credited to John Dodge and dated November 3, 2025, described a cinematic presentation of Season 1’s first seven episodes. The report attributed the announcement to a Crunchyroll press release.

The same reporting said the screening was scheduled for 225 select U.S. theaters and separately characterized the event as taking place in the United States and Canada. The available account does not give a primary theater list or explain how the theater count was divided between the two countries.
Was this a new Overlord release?
No. The announced program brought together seven episodes from the first season. It was an anniversary screening of existing material, rather than a new season, a feature film, or a newly announced continuation of the story.

Can fans still get tickets or find out how the event went?
The November 3 report said tickets were on sale at that time. That is historical information, not evidence of current availability; November 17, 2025, has passed. The available reporting does not establish attendance, audience reaction, or a box-office result, so those outcomes should not be assumed.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the Seasons 1–3 SteelBook the same event?
No. A separate report described an Overlord Blu-ray SteelBook covering Seasons 1, 2, and 3, with an October 21 release date. It is a home-media product, not a recording or edition of the anniversary theater event. The available information does not confirm the release year in that passage, current stock, edition contents, region compatibility, or a current listing.
