His most consequential tools also include Complete Body Susanoo, Kirin, and Amenotejikara, which offer defense, destructive force, and tactical control rather than the same kind of strength. This is an editorial ranking, not an official franchise list; it weighs combat impact, versatility, scale, and the conditions each technique requires.
How this ranking defines “strongest”
The ranking focuses on Sasuke at his peak, especially the Fourth Shinobi World War and his final battle with Naruto. It distinguishes a single devastating attack from an ability that can control a fight or protect allies. Some entries are forms or technique families rather than one discrete jutsu, so their rank reflects what Sasuke can do through them.
Peak-era abilities should not be confused with adult Sasuke’s later toolkit: reference material reports that he lost his Rinnegan and the abilities tied to it. The list therefore does not imply that every technique below remains available to him as an adult.
Sasuke’s 10 strongest jutsu and abilities
1. Indra’s Arrow
Indra’s Arrow is the strongest candidate for Sasuke’s peak single attack. Reference material describes him shaping lightning-natured chakra into the arrow after gathering chakra from all nine tailed beasts and using Complete Body Susanoo as its vessel. The official retrospective confirms the Tailed Beast chakra and Susanoo context of the final fight, but does not name the attack; the technique’s specific mechanics and name are reported by a secondary reference (Naruto reference entry; official finale retrospective).

Its exceptional output comes with exceptional prerequisites: this is not a routine attack Sasuke can reproduce without the chakra and Susanoo setup.
2. Complete Body Susanoo
Susanoo gives Sasuke an enormous combat form with both offensive and defensive reach. In the final battle, it served as a vessel for the tailed-beast chakra he gathered; earlier, Sasuke used Susanoo to protect Team 7 from the Infinite Tsukuyomi (official finale retrospective; official retrospective on the Infinite Tsukuyomi).
This ranks highly for its scale and versatility, but it is a form through which Sasuke fights, not a single strike directly comparable to Kirin or Chidori.
3. Amenotejikara
Amenotejikara is a Rinnegan space-time technique described in secondary reference material as allowing Sasuke to swap positions with people or objects. Rather than dealing the greatest area damage, it can abruptly change positioning and create an opening or disrupt an opponent’s plan (Naruto reference entry).

Its value is tactical: a well-timed position swap can matter more than a larger blast. It belongs to peak-era Sasuke’s Rinnegan toolkit, not the later adult-era version after the reported loss of that eye.
4. Kirin
Kirin turns natural lightning into a devastating attack, but it requires setup rather than functioning as an effortless, repeatable burst. In Sasuke’s fight with Itachi, both brothers had spent chakra on sustained Sharingan and ninjutsu use before Sasuke unveiled Kirin; the official retrospective says the lightning struck Itachi (official Sasuke–Itachi fight retrospective).
Kirin’s place on this list rests on its demonstrated impact and dramatic scale, not on an unsupported numerical power rating or a claim that it always beats every other technique.
5. Amaterasu and Kagutsuchi applications
Amaterasu is part of the Itachi-fight material covered by the official retrospective, but the available account does not establish the full scope of Sasuke’s later Kagutsuchi applications. They are grouped here as an ocular-fire category, with that limit in mind: the evidence supports including Amaterasu, not a detailed inventory of specific flame-shaping feats (official Sasuke–Itachi fight retrospective).

6. Six Paths-enhanced Chidori
In the war’s climax, Sasuke’s Chidori was enhanced by Six Paths power. The official finale retrospective describes Sasuke and Naruto striking Madara with Chidori and Rasengan empowered by that power, establishing this as a high-tier application of Sasuke’s signature technique (official finale retrospective).
Its ranking reflects the enhancement and the opponent it was used against; it should not be treated as the baseline strength of every Chidori Sasuke performs.
7. Susanoo: Chidori
Sasuke can combine the reach of Susanoo with the piercing force of Chidori. Secondary reference material names this combined application “Susanoo: Chidori”; the official finale account supports the surrounding Susanoo and Chidori context, but does not use that technique name (Naruto reference entry; official finale retrospective).
The combination is powerful because it delivers a focused attack through a massive combat form, though it depends on access to Susanoo.

8. Chidori
Chidori is the foundation of several entries above, and one of Sasuke’s defining techniques. The official Chidori entry classifies it as ninjutsu and describes a high-speed thrust using concentrated chakra. It also explains that the Sharingan is needed to track movement during the thrust; without it, the user is vulnerable to counterattacks (official Chidori entry, June 18, 2024).
The technique’s value is its speed and direct, concentrated impact. Sasuke also used Chidori against Deidara, according to the official retrospective on his fights (official retrospective).
9. Chidori variants
Sasuke’s Chidori family includes adaptations for different combat situations, but the available sources do not establish a complete, dependable inventory of named variants and their feats. The family earns a place for its flexibility and its role in Sasuke’s combat style; particular variants should not be ranked as independently verified here without a specific canonical feat.
10. Susanoo’s defensive protection
Susanoo’s defensive use deserves separate recognition from its size and offensive potential. Sasuke used it to shield Team 7 during the Infinite Tsukuyomi, a protective feat that shows why “strongest” cannot mean damage alone (official retrospective).

This entry is a distinct application of the Susanoo form rather than a separate technique name. It rounds out the ranking by recognizing battlefield protection alongside attacks.

The official retrospective describes the final Naruto–Sasuke clash as Sasuke’s Chidori against Naruto’s Rasengan, and says both fighters used the strongest move in their arsenals. That scene helps put the ranking in perspective: Sasuke’s peak is not one isolated technique, but a combination of inherited power, tactical options, and familiar jutsu pushed to their limits (official finale retrospective).
Which is Sasuke’s strongest attack?
For peak offensive output, Indra’s Arrow is the strongest candidate in this ranking because of its tailed-beast chakra and Susanoo setup. For overall usefulness, Amenotejikara can be more valuable in a fight where positioning decides the outcome; Susanoo contributes both large-scale offense and protection. Those are different measures of strength, not contradictory answers.
