Why the puzzle number is uncertain
The March 12, 2026, answers are reported consistently by Mashable via Yahoo Tech and the HintPulse archive. However, the archive lists March 12 as puzzle #541 and March 6 as #535. Parade’s March 12 page identifies the puzzle as #535, but its clues and answer groups do not agree with one another. For that reason, these are best treated as the reported March 12 answers, not as a verified solution to #535.
How Connections: Sports Edition works
The game presents 16 terms to sort into four groups of four based on a shared connection. It is a sports-focused version associated with The New York Times and The Athletic; the game description and numbering caveat above are based on secondary coverage rather than an official rules page.
