The public record does not establish a definitive reason Liv Morgan and Enzo Amore broke up. Morgan’s September 2017 post was interpreted as hinting at cheating, but it did not spell out what happened. Amore later confirmed they had dated and separated, without explaining why.
What Liv Morgan said about being single
On September 10, 2017, Morgan posted: “Me knowing that I’m single and nobody cheating on me.” PopCulture reported the post the next day as a possible breakup announcement and interpreted its wording as a possible reference to infidelity. The post indicates that cheating was part of how she framed being single, but it is not a detailed account of the breakup or proof that infidelity occurred. PopCulture’s September 11, 2017 report reproduces the post.
What Enzo Amore later confirmed
In remarks from an appearance on The Steve Austin Show, reported by Wrestling Inc. on June 28, 2018, Amore said: “We’ve been broken up for a couple of years, about a year.” He also recalled dating Morgan and living with her while he was in NXT. The quoted passage confirms that they had been in a relationship and had separated, but gives no reason for the split. Its description of the timing—“a couple of years, about a year”—is imprecise, so it does not establish an exact timeline. Wrestling Inc.’s report on Amore’s interview contains the excerpt.
Does the evidence show that cheating caused the breakup?
No. Morgan’s post prompted speculation about cheating, but neither that post nor Amore’s quoted remarks establishes infidelity as fact or identifies it as the definitive cause. Later coverage connected a song on Amore’s album to Morgan and revisited the earlier allegation, but that was speculation rather than independent confirmation. Wrestling Inc.’s November 18, 2018 coverage discusses that speculation.
