There is no well-supported, definitive top ten of the richest women who have been Saturday Night Live cast members. The available figures are entertainment-media estimates, not audited disclosures, and the sources here support three examples—not a complete ranking. Julia Louis-Dreyfus has the highest reported estimate among them, at $250 million, followed by Tina Fey at $75 million and Kristen Wiig at $25 million. Those figures come from sources with different publication or update dates, so they should not be treated as a like-for-like financial comparison.
What the reported estimates say
Parade’s May 16, 2026 roundup describes its overall SNL list as “ranked by their reported net worths.” It cites Celebrity Net Worth for the estimates below. Celebrity Net Worth is an entertainment wealth-estimate publisher, not a source of verified personal financial statements.
| Performer | Reported estimate and source date | SNL cast tenure reported by source | Career context described by source | What the estimate establishes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Julia Louis-Dreyfus | $250 million — Celebrity Net Worth, in an article from around 2019, repeated by Parade on May 16, 2026 | 1982–1985, according to Parade | Parade’s roundup identifies her as an SNL alumna; Celebrity Net Worth’s all-time SNL list provides career context. | A widely repeated estimate, but the underlying estimate is older and is not an audited asset total. |
| Tina Fey | $75 million — Celebrity Net Worth estimate cited by Parade on May 16, 2026 | 2000–2006, according to Parade | Parade’s roundup identifies her as an SNL alumna; its figure is attributed to Celebrity Net Worth. | The roundup supplies a recent citation date, but the number remains a third-party estimate rather than a disclosed financial total. |
| Kristen Wiig | $25 million — Celebrity Net Worth profile updated June 29, 2026 | 2005–2012, according to Celebrity Net Worth | The profile summarizes later screen, writing, and producing work. | The profile has a specific 2026 update date; it does not provide audited support for the estimate. |
These are the three supported examples, not the first three places in a verified women-only ranking. No authoritative published statistic establishes such a ranking, and the sources do not provide enough individually attributed evidence to responsibly name and order ten women. The estimates also differ in source date and methodology, which can change both the figures and their apparent order.
Why the figures are estimates, not a definitive ranking
Celebrity net-worth publishers generally offer estimates rather than access to complete records of an individual’s assets, liabilities, taxes, investments, or private business interests. Parade’s roundup attributes its figures to Celebrity Net Worth; that attribution does not turn them into official disclosures. The available sources do not establish that the three figures were calculated using the same method or on the same date.
A performer’s SNL tenure is only one part of a career. Later work in television, film, writing, and producing may affect a published estimate, but the amount earned from a project is not the same as an individual’s net worth. A film’s box-office gross, for example, cannot be presented as the performer’s personal wealth.
For a useful comparison, check who published the estimate and when it was published or updated, whether the person’s cast membership is documented, and what career context the source actually gives. Treat the resulting number as a rough media estimate—not a financial statement or a precise measure of personal success.

Why Melissa McCarthy is not included
Biography.com reports an approximate $90 million estimate for Melissa McCarthy, but the cited page describes her SNL connection as hosting. Hosting the show does not establish cast membership. Under a cast-members-only criterion, that estimate is not a reason to include her in this list.
