They first met around 2006
Tucci said in a first-person interview with The Guardian that he met Felicity before the 2006 premiere of The Devil Wears Prada. He recalled that a photograph from that period showed Felicity with his first wife, Kate.
They reconnected at Emily Blunt’s wedding
Tucci encountered Felicity again in 2010, when he was in England to make a film and attended her sister Emily’s wedding to John Krasinski. He said that he and Felicity began dating after reconnecting there. When did Stanley Tucci marry Felicity Blunt?
They became engaged in 2011, and their marriage was reported in 2012. The contemporaneous CBS News report and ABC’s 2026 account both give 2012. An ABC story published in 2015 gives a different year, 2013, so 2012 is the better-supported year; the sources cited here do not establish an exact ceremony date.
The family Tucci and Felicity built together
Tucci had three children with his first wife, Kate, who died in 2009 after breast cancer. In the 2017 Guardian interview, he spoke about Felicity choosing to join a family that already included those three children and acknowledged that step-parenting was a challenging role. His account offers context without suggesting that one relationship replaced another.

Tucci and Felicity have two children together, according to Tatler’s 2026 profile. Their son Matteo Oliver Tucci was born in London in January 2015; ABC News reported his birth and identified Tucci’s older children as his half-siblings. The sources cited here name Matteo but do not name the couple’s other child.

Tucci has spoken about the importance of sharing meals with family. In the Guardian interview, he said: “It is vital that you have a meal together; nothing is more bonding or more healing.” Cooking is also a shared interest: Tatler reports that Tucci makes risotto while Felicity makes fresh pasta.
