David Duchovny confirmed he married Monique Pendleberry in February 2025. He gave the confirmation during a September 3, 2025 appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, where he was discussing his debut poetry collection, About Time.
What Duchovny said about the marriage
As E! News reported, Savannah Guthrie told Duchovny, “By the way, you got married this year.” He replied, “I did, in February. Thank you.” The exchange is the direct on-air confirmation that the wedding took place in February 2025.

Duchovny was on the program to discuss About Time. E! reported that he did not describe the poems as being directed at Pendleberry.
What is known about the wedding location
E! also recounted a separate, earlier interview with The Telegraph, published in June 2025, in which Duchovny said, “We ran off to Santa Barbara and did it at the courthouse there.” That earlier remark is the source of the Santa Barbara courthouse detail; it was not part of the brief exchange on Today with Jenna & Friends.
