Ram’s 2025 Super Bowl LIX commercial, “Drive Your Own Story,” recasts Glen Powell as a truck-loving Goldilocks who tests three Ram models before deciding which one is “just right.” The 60-second spot debuted February 6, 2025, ahead of the February 9 game; ad listings also call it “Goldilocks and the Three Trucks.”
What happens in Ram’s Super Bowl commercial?
Powell tells a Goldilocks-inspired story to his real-life twin niece and nephew. Rather than a cottage and bowls of porridge, the high-energy fable brings in trucks, bears, a fire-breathing dragon and volcanoes. The soundtrack is Van Halen’s “Panama,” and David Leitch directed the spot.
The story’s point is choice: Powell’s character encounters different trucks and searches for the one that feels right for him. The fairy-tale action is theatrical storytelling, not a demonstration of the trucks’ real-world capabilities.
Ram also announced a 90-second extended cut on its YouTube channel alongside the 60-second commercial.

What does “Drive Your Own Story” mean?
Ram presents the Goldilocks retelling as a metaphor for choosing among trucks with different characteristics, from an electrified pickup to a heavy-duty model and an off-road-oriented truck. Stellantis CEO Olivier Francois described the idea as a fable rooted in American culture, with Powell trying out the Ram 1500, Ram 2500 heavy duty and the new Ramcharger 1500. That is the brand’s stated interpretation of the commercial, not independent audience research.

Was there official Goldilocks-themed merchandise?
Ram’s announcement named campaign merchandise including stuffed dragons and bears, apparel, blankets and dragon-wing hot sauce, with items to be offered through RamTrucks.com. That announcement does not establish whether any item remains in stock or is available through other retailers. A generic dragon plush toy should not be mistaken for official campaign merchandise.
