The June 2024 announcement said all 10 episodes were planned for release in December 2024. It did not name a specific day, and a planned release window is not confirmation that the series launched. BGR’s June 25, 2024 report, citing IndieWire, described the schedule as a plan.
Where was Flat Earthers supposed to stream?
The announced streaming home was The Network, described in the report as an ad-based streaming service. What is the show about?
The 2024 announcement described Flat Earthers as a 10-episode hybrid of documentary and competition. Its reported premise follows five families who believe Earth is flat. Each family was to receive $50,000 worth of resources for research and present its findings to a panel of scientists, theologians and cartographers. A family could win a cash prize if a majority of the panel accepted its case; the prize amount was not disclosed. These are details from the announcement, not confirmation of the finished series’ format.
