“When in Rome” was reported as the first single from the forthcoming album. Radio Subasio said on September 15, 2026 that it was digitally available, and Apple Music lists it as a 2026 single. Neither establishes that every previously released single will appear on the album.
The album discussed in 2025 is distinct from Alchemical: Volume 1, released in 2023. Cameron told NYLON that the earlier project reflected how she felt at the time, but was not truly her debut; she described the newer collection as a bolder set of pop songs and her real debut. In March 2025, she told NRJ she had decided against Alchemical: Volume 2 because the new writing sounded too different from Volume 1.
