Spoiler: No. Tengen Uzui survives the Entertainment District battle in Demon Slayer, though Gyutaro’s poison leaves him near death. He loses his left eye and left arm and retires from active Hashira duty.
Does Tengen die in the Entertainment District Arc?
No. Tengen collapses during the fight, and the official synopsis for episode 11 describes him as “on the brink of death from Gyutaro’s poison.” That description signals how critical his condition is; it does not mean he dies. The official anime site’s episode 10 synopsis describes his collapse, while its episode 11 synopsis establishes the severity of his poisoning.

What happens to Tengen after the battle?
The official Hashira Training Arc character profile confirms that Tengen survives. It says he lost his left eye and left arm in the Entertainment District battle and is retired. He steps away from active Hashira duty because of those severe injuries.
Does Tengen die later in Demon Slayer?
The cited official material establishes that Tengen survives the Entertainment District battle and is later retired. It does not establish his ultimate fate later in life, so it would be inaccurate to claim either that he eventually dies or that he lives indefinitely.
