Xochitl Gomez attended the Dancing with the Stars season 34 finale on November 25, 2025, and contemporaneous reports said she brought Robert Irwin flowers before the performances. Their friendly reunion drew dating speculation, but it did not confirm a relationship. A report published the next day said Gomez answered that she was single during the finale livestream—a statement about that moment, not a current status update.
Was Xochitl Gomez at the Dancing with the Stars finale?
Yes. TV Insider reported that Gomez, the season 32 champion, attended the November 25, 2025 season 34 finale to support the finalists, including Irwin. The outlet said she was in the audience, went backstage, and shared supportive posts on social media. TV Insider’s finale coverage describes her visit.
Did Xochitl Gomez bring Robert Irwin flowers?
Us Weekly reported that Gomez was photographed giving Irwin a bouquet before the live finale. After Irwin won alongside professional partner Witney Carson, he greeted Gomez with a hug, according to the outlet. These are reported friendly gestures, not proof of a romantic relationship. Us Weekly’s November 26, 2025 report covered the bouquet and reunion.
Why did the sighting prompt dating speculation?
Gomez and Irwin had already danced together in a relay during the show’s 20th anniversary episode on November 11, 2025. Their shared performance, followed by Gomez’s support at the finale, gave fans a reason to discuss their rapport; it did not establish that they were dating. Both TV Insider and Us Weekly described the prior dance in their coverage.

Gomez’s reported answer
Just Jared reported on November 26, 2025, that during the finale livestream Gomez was asked whether she was single and replied, “Yes, I am,” then added, “Yes, yes, I am.” That answer is dated to the livestream; it should not be treated as an update on her relationship status today. Irwin’s comments about their dance
TV Insider attributed these remarks to Irwin, speaking to TMZ about dancing with Gomez: “We had the best time. That dance was so much fun. It was so cool to do two such distinct dances, one that was really slow and heartfelt, and then the dance with Xochitl, which was energy and fun. She’s the best. It’s been really great.” He praised the performance and Gomez, but did not confirm a romance.
