MAPPA announced two distinct Reze Arc illustrations during its 15th-anniversary campaign: an anniversary key visual on June 16, 2026, and an exhibition illustration on July 17. Neither announcement calls its artwork the final official Reze Arc art ever, so “final” is best understood as headline framing—not a confirmed end to official artwork or events.
What “final official Reze art” refers to
The phrase appears to point to MAPPA’s late Reze Arc artwork released as part of its 15th-anniversary activity. The two relevant announcements are separate: one introduced a 15th-anniversary key visual for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, and the other included a newly drawn Reze Arc illustration for MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary.

MAPPA’s announcements establish that these illustrations were released, but do not describe either one as the last Reze Arc artwork ever. The official anime news listing also continued to carry Reze Arc-related activity after the film’s final stage event, including a September 2026 Cinema Live announcement.
The two anniversary-period illustrations
| Release | Date and purpose | Credits or distribution |
|---|---|---|
| MAPPA 15th Anniversary key visual | Announced June 16, 2026, as an anniversary visual for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. | Illustration by Shoichi; digital painting by Misaki Nakano. MAPPA announcement. |
| MAPPA EXPO exhibition illustration | Announced July 17, 2026, among newly drawn exhibition illustrations for MAPPA EXPO 15th Anniversary. | The announcement confirms the Reze Arc illustration; it does not establish that it was the campaign’s last planned image. MAPPA announcement. |
The releases have different purposes and dates. The June image was presented as an anniversary key visual; the July image was part of the exhibition’s newly drawn illustrations. The available announcements do not establish whether the July artwork was the final image planned for the campaign.
Earlier Reze Arc art and cinema bonuses
March 2026 final-event card
For the film’s final stage event, attendees received a newly drawn Reze visual card by character designer Kazutaka Sugiyama. The offer also applied to viewers at nationwide livestream screenings. The official announcement describes it as an event-attendee card, not a general retail release. Official event announcement.
December 2025 Memorial Collection
The film’s official site lists a Memorial Collection distributed to moviegoers from December 20, 2025, while supplies lasted. It contained production-related material and previously released illustrations, including a new Denji and Reze visual. This was a theatergoer bonus; the official description does not establish ordinary retail availability. Official film-site bonus archive.

Does the release mark the end of the Reze era?
Not as a confirmed official cutoff. MAPPA’s June and July announcements document new artwork, while the anime site’s listing includes later Reze Arc-related activity, such as a September 2026 Cinema Live event announcement. That does not guarantee further art or events, but it means the phrase “final official art” should not be read as proof that no more will appear. Official anime news listing.
