Bravo’s official material documents storylines from the show and a few developments, including Imani Walker confirming in 2020 that she and Phil Johnson had moved forward with divorce. It does not explain why the series did not return or provide a current update on every cast member.
What is established about the show ending?
Bravo announced a Los Angeles installment of Married to Medicine in April 2018 as a new franchise series. Its official series page lists six cast members: Imani Walker, Shanique Drummond, Britten Cole, Jazmin Johnson, Kendra Segura, and Lia Dias.

A 2025 report from The List describes the series as cancelled after two seasons and also names first-season cast members Asha Kamali-Blankinship and Noelle Reid. That account is secondary reporting; the Bravo pages reviewed do not provide a cancellation announcement or explanation. The show’s reported end is therefore distinct from an official account of why it ended.
What did the cast’s storylines look like on the show?
Bravo’s season-two descriptions offer context for the lives viewers saw on screen. They are show-era summaries, not confirmation of what the cast members are doing now.

- Imani Walker: Bravo described her as living as a single mother while her husband was out of state.
- Shanique Drummond: She was considering a move into luxury real estate.
- Jazmin Johnson: She was building a concierge business.
- Kendra Segura: She wanted to return to work as an OB-GYN.
These accounts establish what Bravo presented during the series, not whether those plans later succeeded or remain current.
Did Imani Walker get divorced?
In a Bravo report published in June 2020 after season-two filming, Walker confirmed that she and Phil Johnson had moved forward with divorce. This is a time-specific update from Walker, not evidence of her later relationship status. The report also places the development after filming; it does not say the show’s ending caused the divorce.
Rank #2
What other post-series changes are documented?
Bravo’s series page reported that Kendra Segura partnered with Lia Dias on a beauty-supply location. That supports the existence of a reported business venture at the time the page was updated, but it does not establish whether the location is still operating or connect the venture to the show ending.
For other cast members, the available official material primarily describes their on-camera storylines. It is not enough to make a comprehensive, current “where are they now” account for the full cast.

Why was Married to Medicine: Los Angeles cancelled?
No reviewed official Bravo source explains why the series did not return. The secondary account identifies the show as ending after two seasons, but the available sources do not substantiate a reason. Ratings, scheduling, production conditions, or any other proposed explanation should not be treated as fact without a source that directly establishes it.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Did the cancellation change the cast’s lives for better or worse?
The documented developments do not establish that the cancellation caused changes in the cast’s lives. Walker’s divorce confirmation followed season-two filming, and Bravo reported Segura and Dias’s business venture, but neither account attributes those events to the series ending. Calling the impact “better” or “worse” would go beyond what the sources show.
Rank #4
The clearest distinction is between events that happened during or after the show and consequences caused by its cancellation. The evidence supports some of the former; it does not establish the latter.
