In January 2024, Judge Jessica A. Uzcategui denied the emergency request, saying she was not persuaded that a conservatorship was urgently needed. The ruling addressed the temporary request before the court; it should not be described as a finding about Allman’s health or as a blanket resolution of every later financial-oversight question. The Associated Press reported the filing and ruling (AP report).
The later 2026 effort
A second conservatorship effort was reported in April 2026 and denied at that stage. Later reporting described continued conflict about possible financial oversight, but the available account does not establish the final procedural position. The outcome should therefore be tied to the date and stage of the reported proceeding rather than described as a settled, current status (Us Weekly report; later reporting).

What was reported about the New Hampshire arrests?
The Associated Press reported that Allman was arrested in New Hampshire on February 27 and March 1, 2026. The reported accusations included charges arising from a disturbance at St. Paul’s School and an alleged entry into a home in Windham. The March account said a hearing had been continued and listed charges known at that time (AP report).
An arrest or charge is not a conviction. The reporting available here does not establish the final disposition of either case, so no conclusion about guilt or their present status can be drawn from it.

What has Allman said about substance use?
