Anitta’s rehearsals are not one single event: they range from Carnival preparation and learning new choreography to television performances and the work behind music videos. These five documented moments come from different years and settings, rather than a canonical five-scene rehearsal sequence.
1. Four- to five-hour Carnival preparation shows
In a 2024 report, TV Globo’s Fantástico described Ensaios da Anitta as preparation for Carnival performances in Rio de Janeiro and Salvador. The shows lasted four to five hours, and that season included tributes to samba schools from Rio and São Paulo. The format makes these events both performances in their own right and preparation for the Carnival stage. Fantástico’s report supplies the context and duration.
2. Learning pole dance for a music video
Anitta has said that how much she rehearses depends on the project: she practices when there is something new to learn and otherwise takes regular dance classes. In a 17 January 2015 interview with Extra, she said she took pole-dance lessons specifically for a video, despite having never taken them before. Her words, translated from Portuguese: “I had never taken classes before; I did them especially for a music video.” The interview offers a glimpse of rehearsal as targeted skill-building, not simply repeating a familiar routine.
3. Rehearsals and backstage work in documentary footage
Netflix’s description of Anitta: Made in Honório says the documentary includes rehearsals for music videos and concerts, as well as backstage footage from national and international performances. That gives viewers access to several kinds of preparation, but the listing does not identify a fixed set of five rehearsal scenes. Netflix’s series page describes the footage at that broader level.

4. A rehearsal for Saturday Night Live
In April 2026, the Associated Press reported that Anitta rehearsed two songs for Saturday Night Live with dancers and a small band. The songs identified in the report were “Choka Choka,” featuring Shakira, and “Varias Quejas.” This is a distinct television-performance setting, documented as a specific rehearsal rather than inferred from a documentary description. 5. A demanding schedule for the EQUILIBRIVM II videos
Not every preparation story is a stage rehearsal. In a July 2026 report, Gshow relayed Anitta’s account that the EQUILIBRIVM II videos were filmed over four days, with 16-hour workdays and a crew of about 220. She described it as the largest production of her career at that point and said the pace was rushed. Those figures are her reported account, not independently audited production data, and they describe video production—not a rehearsal timetable. Gshow’s report provides the production context.
