Several different The Bachelorette storylines could fit “a suitor leaves early,” so the title alone does not identify a single episode. The possible matches include Constantine’s departure during Ashley Hebert’s 2011 season and Logan Palmer’s COVID-related exit in 2022. Clare Crawley’s early departure in 2020 is a separate case: she was the lead, not a suitor.
Which episode does “a suitor leaves early” refer to?
Without a season, episode, lead, or departing contestant, there is no reliable way to choose one definitive recap. The available reports point to distinct events with different people, causes, and consequences:

|---|---|---|
| Ashley Hebert’s 2011 season | Contestant Constantine | AceShowbiz’s July 26, 2011 recap says he left during an overnight-date episode in Fiji after telling Ashley he was not feeling the relationship and declining the Fantasy Suite. It also reports that Ryan, previously eliminated, returned. Read the AceShowbiz recap. |
| 2022 season featuring Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia | Contestant Logan Palmer | Showbiz Cheat Sheet reports that Logan left early because of COVID-19 and that host Jesse Palmer told him he had to leave. Read the Showbiz Cheat Sheet report. |
| Clare Crawley’s 2020 season | Lead Clare Crawley, not a suitor | The Hollywood Gossip describes Clare leaving to pursue a life with Dale Moss, after which Tayshia Adams took over as lead. This does not match a recap specifically about a suitor leaving. Read The Hollywood Gossip’s account. |
How the possible exits differ
Constantine: a relationship decision
The 2011 secondary recap places Constantine’s departure during Ashley Hebert’s Fiji overnight-date episode. It describes a decision to leave because he did not feel the relationship was right, rather than an elimination imposed by the show. The same account says Ryan returned after an earlier elimination, another event that could be part of the episode’s recap. Its scene details should not be treated as independently verified here.
Logan: a reported COVID-19 departure
The 2022 report attributes Logan Palmer’s exit to COVID-19 and says host Jesse Palmer informed him he had to leave. This is a different kind of departure from a contestant choosing to end a romantic pursuit. The report does not establish that Logan’s circumstances match the 2011 Fiji episode.
#1 Best Overall
- In this racy, razor sharp comedy a group of old friends reunite to throw the perfect bachelorette party, but instead end up in a wild and hilarious race against the clock to save their friends wedding.
Clare: the lead leaves and the season changes leads
Clare Crawley’s 2020 storyline is often described as an early exit, but she was the Bachelorette. The account says she left with Dale Moss and Tayshia Adams subsequently became the lead. That format change is why it should not be folded into a suitor-exit recap.

The wording does not establish the intended season or episode, the departing person, the on-screen explanation, or what happened immediately afterward. The reports above are plausible matches, not proof of which event the title means. A definitive recap needs at least one identifier—such as the lead’s name, season, episode, departing contestant, or an episode-specific source.
Rank #2
No later relationship outcome or current streaming availability is established for the intended episode. The Showbiz Cheat Sheet report mentions ABC and Hulu in connection with its 2022 season, but that does not confirm where any of these episodes can be watched now.
