What “highest earning” means in this ranking
Annual earnings measure money attributed to a particular period; net worth estimates the value of a person’s assets minus liabilities at a point in time. They are not interchangeable. Because the British-specific ten-person list located is a wealth ranking, this article presents it as estimated net worth and attributes the figures to Nubia Magazine.

What the latest annual earnings figures can—and cannot—show
Forbes’ report on 2025 earnings offers a separate, period-specific snapshot of three British actors appearing in its worldwide actor ranking: Daniel Craig at $27 million, Millie Bobby Brown at $26 million, and Tom Hardy at $21 million. The report does not rank British actors alone, so these entries do not establish a British top three, much less a top ten.

Forbes describes its figures as estimated pretax earnings for calendar year 2025 after representation fees. It attributes compensation to the year a film or television project was released, even if payment happened earlier or later. The estimate includes film and television work such as acting, producing, and directing; it excludes unrelated entrepreneurial ventures, licensing, commercials, social partnerships, stand-up, and podcasting. Forbes says it used interviews with industry professionals and data sources including IMDbPro and Box Office Mojo. These are estimates, not audited income disclosures.

- Do not compare unlike measures. A year’s estimated earnings are not a person’s accumulated wealth.
- Keep the date attached to the number. Nubia’s list is labeled 2026, but its stated underlying data were current as of early 2024 and projected forward.
- Remember what earnings estimates include. Forbes’ 2025 estimates cover specified film and television work and omit several other income categories.
- Do not treat rank order as precise accounting. Neither source presents audited personal financial statements; wealth estimates can differ with assumptions about assets, liabilities, and income.
