Later announced additions
Paramount announced Phylicia Rashad, Wendy Raquel Robinson, and Karrueche Tran on April 8, 2025, followed by Kyla Pratt, Punkie Johnson, Reagan Gomez, and Tammy Townsend on May 5. The later announcements identified them as additions; they should not be folded into a claim that all named Season 7 performers shared the same cast status.

How many people watched the Season 7 premiere?
Paramount reported that the Season 7 premiere scored two million cross-platform viewers during its first seven days, calling it the most-streamed premiere in the series’ history. This is a company-reported figure based on Paramount’s internal streaming data, not an independent ratings measurement. Paramount defined total viewers as total watch time divided by runtime; its comparison windows were May 16–22, 2025, for Season 7 and May 10–16, 2024, for Season 6B.
In the same Season 7 premiere announcement, Paramount characterized Season 6 as nearly 25% more watched on streaming than Season 5. That comparison is also Paramount’s own description.
