When was Stud Muffin revealed?
Stud Muffin debuted in the Group C premiere during Carnival Night on March 26, 2025. He returned for Boy Band Night on April 2, when Group C contestants performed boy-band songs and former contestants Chris Kirkpatrick, previously Hummingbird, and Omarion, previously Yeti, shared additional clues. One contestant was unmasked that night: Stud Muffin.
FOX’s verified show channel posted the reveal, and FOX TV Stations reported the post-reveal exchange. These sources confirm the identity and elimination.

What clues pointed toward Method Man?
Carnival Night: mascot, team and crew
The Carnival Night package referred to a teammate who had run with a mascot, a dream of being a mascot, representing a team, and building a strong crew. It also described sweeping floors before finding a “right hook” and a shot at the big time, then moving from the “muffin bottom” to the “muffin top.”
The team-and-crew language can be read as a nod to Method Man’s group career. “Right hook” may evoke boxing, but the sourced reveal coverage does not establish that as a specific biographical reference. These are interpretations of the clues, not confirmed explanations from the show.

Boy Band Night: brotherhood and “Poison”
The second package name-checked the Temptations, Four Tops, Boyz II Men, New Edition and Bell Biv DeVoe. It contrasted the contestant’s own “brotherhood” with a group that grew and succeeded together, faced people trying to “poison” its success, and stayed united. Stud Muffin said his chosen song came from a favorite group that had once sent him a birthday message. Nick Cannon’s T-shirt clue was, “All the ingredients were there. I’m extra proud of this one.”
Together, the brotherhood and group-success language offers a strong thematic connection to Method Man and Wu-Tang Clan, while the song title matches the package’s use of “poison.” That connection is clue interpretation; the unmasking is the definitive confirmation.
