McDonald’s Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meals were documented as limited-time promotions in mainland China and the Philippines in 2024–2025—not as a current offer. As of October 2026, the sources available here do not confirm that any market is selling them now. Availability was regional, so check with local McDonald’s restaurants for current promotions.
Where and when were Sonic 3 Happy Meals offered?
| Market | Campaign dates | Toys described | Participation and availability |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mainland China | December 18, 2024–January 14, 2025 | Eight toys in the Sonic 3 2024 series | Some restaurants participated. Toys were randomly selected and supplies were limited. Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan were excluded. McDonald’s China’s campaign page, dated December 16, 2024 |
| Philippines | January 3–31, 2025 | A reported set of eight Sonic character figures in rollable containers | The report describes a Philippines-specific promotion and cites McDonald’s Philippines campaign material. GameIndustry.ph, April 28, 2025 |
The campaign dates, participation rules, and toy descriptions are market-specific. The sources do not establish that every country had the same assortment or terms.
What toys came in the Happy Meal?
McDonald’s China’s 2024 campaign page says its Sonic 3 series included eight toys and that styles were random; customers could see the physical toys displayed in participating restaurants. That count applies to the mainland China series, not necessarily to every market.
The Philippines report also describes eight toys, character figures packaged in rollable containers. Because that promotion was a separate regional campaign, its description should not be treated as a universal list of Sonic 3 Happy Meal toys.

Is McDonald’s selling them now?
No current Sonic 3 Happy Meal promotion is confirmed by the cited sources. The documented campaigns ended in January 2025. McDonald’s USA’s general Happy Meal page explains the meal format, which includes a toy, but does not confirm a Sonic promotion. Its Happy Meal toy information likewise does not establish current Sonic 3 availability.
Promotions can vary by country and restaurant. For a current answer, check your local McDonald’s app or contact nearby restaurants; an old campaign page or a collectible listing is not proof that a meal or toy is still available.
