Trivia Quest is Netflix’s interactive trivia series built around a daily quiz and an animated rescue story. Netflix announced it on March 3, 2022, with a plan to release one episode per day throughout April, for 30 episodes total. Those dates describe the original launch plan, not a guarantee that the series is playable in every region today.
What is Netflix’s Trivia Quest?
Trivia Quest is an interactive quiz series based on etermax’s Trivia Crack. In Netflix’s March 3, 2022 announcement, Andy Weil, then the company’s VP of Comedy Series and Interactive Programming, described it as Netflix’s first daily interactive trivia series. The animated story gives the quizzes a goal: help Willy rescue the citizens of Trivia Land from Evil Rocky, who is hoarding the world’s knowledge. How was the series meant to work?
Daily episodes and question format
Netflix planned 30 episodes, one for each day of April 2022. Each episode was designed to contain 24 multiple-choice questions: 12 standard and 12 hard. Every question had four possible answers. The announcement named science, history, entertainment, sports, art, and geography among the subjects.
Story progress and replay
Correct answers earn points, and players can replay quizzes to build their score. Points advance story milestones that free captured Trivia Land characters. The quiz is therefore both a set of knowledge questions and a way to move Willy’s rescue mission forward, rather than a standalone quiz with no narrative progression.

When did Trivia Quest launch?
Netflix announced the series on March 3, 2022, and scheduled its launch for April 1, 2022, with a new episode planned each day through the month. Netflix’s official title page lists Trivia Quest as a 2022 interactive trivia series. The available official listing does not establish whether it can currently be played in every country or under every subscription plan, so check the title in your own Netflix account for current local availability.
Which devices did Netflix list?
In its 2022 launch announcement, Netflix listed smart TVs, streaming media players, game consoles, computer browsers, Android mobile devices, and Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. That is the device list announced at launch, not confirmation of present-day compatibility. Availability may depend on the device, region, and Netflix’s current support; consult Netflix’s current help information or the title in your account before relying on a particular device.

Who made Trivia Quest?
Netflix named Daniel Calin and Vin Rubino of Sunday Sauce Productions as producers. The company presented the series as an expansion of its interactive entertainment experiments and a complement to its mobile gaming initiative. Netflix identified etermax’s Trivia Crack as the inspiration for the format; it did not describe Trivia Quest as a separate physical board game.
