How Strands works
NYT Strands is a themed word search playable through NYT Games on desktop or mobile. Connect adjacent letters in any direction without reusing a letter or crossing a path. The spangram describes the theme and runs from one edge of the board to the opposite edge. Finding three non-theme words earns an in-game hint, as described in Try Hard Guides’ how-to section. The official game is available at NYT Games.
