For a first watch, follow the modern trilogy in release order: Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Ocean’s Twelve (2004), then Ocean’s Thirteen (2007). The 1960 Ocean’s 11 and Ocean’s 8 are optional related films, not required steps in that trilogy.

Where the 1960 film and Ocean’s 8 fit
Ocean’s 11 (1960)
The Frank Sinatra film is an optional earlier entry, not a required installment in the modern trilogy. Watch it separately before or after the 2001–2007 films if you want the franchise’s earlier screen history. Warner Bros. Japan distinguishes the Sinatra original from the modern trilogy in its announcement.
Ocean’s 8
Ocean’s 8 is an optional related watch. Warner Bros. Japan lists it among the recommendations on its Ocean’s Thirteen page, but that listing does not establish a definitive continuity position or make it necessary to understand the trilogy. If you want to include it, watch it after the core trilogy as a related title.

How to find the films to watch
Availability depends on the country and the service. Warner Bros. Japan lists digital purchase and rental options for individual films and cautions that availability periods vary by service; this does not establish that a particular platform currently carries them in every region. Check local streaming and video-on-demand catalogs before choosing where to watch.
If you prefer discs, Warner Bros. Japan documented an Ocean’s Trilogy Collector’s Box released in Japan on December 18, 2024. That specific edition contains six discs: the three trilogy films on 4K Ultra HD and the same films on Blu-ray. Its listed Japanese retail price was ¥22,440, and its product code is 1000842463. These details apply to that Japanese edition, not all box sets or current prices. Before buying any disc edition, check its region, language options, format, and compatibility with your player.
